Human Resources Manager

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Act as the primary liaison for employee relations issues, addressing workplace concerns, performance challenges, policy clarification, and conflict resolution.

β€’ Provide guidance to managers regarding employee performance, corrective measures, and terminations in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

β€’ Offer daily coaching and support to managers on employee engagement, effective communication, and people management strategies.

β€’ Assist leadership in managing organizational changes, performance evaluations, and employee development initiatives.

β€’ Oversee HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance assessments, and offboarding processes.

β€’ Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA, and government contractor obligations.

β€’ Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to reflect regulatory changes.

β€’ Manage HR recordkeeping, ensuring data accuracy and the confidentiality of employee information.

β€’ Administer employee benefits programs, including open enrollment, leave management (FMLA, ADA), and responding to employee inquiries.

β€’ Collaborate with external vendors and PEO partners to guarantee timely and precise benefits and payroll assistance.

β€’ Supervise recruiting operations by managing the Senior Recruiter.

β€’ Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning, hiring requirements, and onboarding processes.

β€’ Assist in compensation and job structure initiatives in partnership with leadership and external collaborators.

β€’ Lead special projects and organizational initiatives as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

β€’ Over 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources with a strong emphasis on employee relations.

β€’ Proven experience in advising managers and aiding leadership in decision-making processes.

β€’ Solid understanding of federal and multi-state employment laws and regulations.

β€’ Experience in supporting remote or geographically dispersed teams.

β€’ Capability to exercise independent judgment and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
