This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
β’ Act as a primary customer service representative for the Human Resources Information Center, addressing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
β’ Address both routine and escalated HR inquiries and issues by leveraging a comprehensive understanding of HR policies, procedures, and systems.
β’ Accurately and promptly process HR transactions, including benefits enrollments, modifications, and related activities.
β’ Collaborate with customers to resolve delays resulting from incomplete or erroneous submissions.
β’ Ensure the maintenance of precise and confidential personnel records in compliance with university policies and legal standards.
β’ Clearly interpret and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees and departments.
β’ Utilize HR information systems and call center tools to document, monitor, and address customer needs.
β’ Recognize trends and suggest process enhancements to improve efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
β’ Offer education, guidance, and training to employees and departments as necessary.
β’ Work in partnership with the HR Information Center Manager on special projects and service improvements.
β’ Bachelorβs degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
β’ Minimum of one year of experience in Human Resources or one year in a customer-focused, production-driven environment.
β’ Experience in a fast-paced setting that necessitates strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
β’ Prior experience in a call center or face-to-face customer service role is preferred.
β’ Strong commitment to customer service with a focus on delivering high-quality support.
β’ Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Possess analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
β’ Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse populations.
β’ Intermediate proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word, and internet-based tools.
β’ Familiarity with HR systems such as SAP and Kenexa BrassRing is preferred.
β’ Bilingual language skills are advantageous, though not mandatory.
