This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Operate within a global framework, ensuring flexibility to support teams, meet deadlines, and engage in virtual meetings across multiple time zones based in Canada, South Africa, the U.K., or the U.S., as required.

• Collaborate with international stakeholders, adapting to diverse schedules and priorities as necessary.

• Facilitate effective communication and coordination among global teams to enhance operational efficiency.

• Maintain adaptability in scheduling to accommodate urgent tasks and cross-regional collaboration.

• Partner with various departments to comprehend current and future staffing needs across multiple regions.

• Manage and assist other HR personnel.

• Coordinate and support comprehensive recruitment and selection processes.

• Build talent pipelines for priority and specialized positions.

• Support the onboarding and integration of new employees.

• Advocate for equitable and inclusive hiring practices in alignment with Employment Equity objectives.

• Streamline interviewing, selection, and onboarding processes to enhance candidate experience and improve hiring efficiency.

• Develop and execute employee branding initiatives that position TydeCo & TydeCo U as employers of choice globally.

• Identify employee development and training needs in collaboration with managers.

• Coordinate learning and development programs.

• Assist in career development and succession planning discussions.

• Support managers and employees throughout performance review processes.

• Offer guidance on performance improvement and employee development planning.

• Aid in resolving employee concerns and workplace challenges.

• Promote continuous feedback and development practices.

• Provide training and support to managers to ensure fair treatment and opportunities for staff across departments and regions.

• Continuously enhance HR processes and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational and individual needs.

• Act as a trusted advisor to managers on people-related issues.

• Support employee engagement and cultural initiatives.

• Contribute to organizational development and change management efforts.

• Promote alignment between people practices and organizational goals.

• Collaborate with external consultants to ensure compliance with South African labor legislation and U.S. labor law, alongside internal policies.

• Maintain accurate employee information and reporting.

• Oversee reporting and compliance related to Employment Equity, EEO, BBBEE, Skills Development initiatives, etc., where applicable.

• In collaboration with external consultants, support employee engagement initiatives, including pulse surveys, feedback mechanisms, and cultural programs.

• Refine onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience, partnering with external consultants for compliance in each region.


⛳️ Requirements

• **Qualifications**

• 8+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with experience in employee development, organizational development, and other people-related functions.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Human Capital, Organizational Development, or a related field. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

• Proven success in talent management.

• Experience in managing staff.

• Exceptional communication skills, strong consultative abilities, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

• Experience in broad Human Resources roles within multinational, multicultural businesses.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

• **Preferred**

• Working knowledge of South African labor legislation and U.S. federal and state employment laws, with the ability to effectively partner with external legal advisors and apply HR practices across multiple jurisdictions.

• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems; familiarity with Workable is a plus.

• Experience in working with and supporting remote employees across various time zones.

Work can be conducted in either an open office environment or remotely, with the expectation to travel onsite based on business and management needs. This is a full-time role that necessitates the ability to work a flexible and regular full-time schedule. It also requires the capacity to sit and work at a computer for extended periods and to communicate effectively with a diverse audience in person, over the phone, and via computer.
