This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborates with the HR Team to facilitate the implementation of human resources plans and practices, which may include performing I-9 compliance and conducting file audits on-site if necessary.
• Conducts both exit interviews and stay interviews.
• Provides support for open enrollment (potentially on-site) and communicates with employees regarding the open enrollment announcement.
• Facilitates meetings involving clients, brokers, the HR team, and other relevant internal PuzzleHR service teams.
• Compiles EEO-1 reporting.
• Aids in employee onboarding support, offering advanced assistance following the Employee Onboarding Associate's creation of SOP.
• Assists in conducting internal client investigations.
• Maintains employee records and information within client systems.
• Demonstrates HRIS familiarity to provide recommendations for HCM projects while working directly with HCM system support.
• Engages directly with clients in areas such as employee relations, compensation administration, benefits, talent acquisition, and organizational talent development to support lead HR initiatives.
• Collaborates with internal service teams to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery.
• Contributes input and support for HRSP projects.
• Participates in the development and optimization of client systems and processes.
• Enhances knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends.
• Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement in HR services and processes.
• Keeps abreast of legal requirements, state, and federal regulations affecting human resource functions, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and reporting.
• Attends all departmental staff meetings and other meetings and seminars as required.
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible human resources experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including at least four (4) years of progressively responsible human resources experience.
• PHR or SHRM-CP Certification is preferred.
• Understanding of the company’s working structure, policies, mission, and strategies.
• Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in human resources administration related to employment, compensation, classification, and employee development.
• Broad understanding of all functions encompassed within the HR domain.
• Familiarity with legal requirements and federal and state regulations associated with employment.
• Proficiency in facilitation and presentation methods and techniques.
• Understanding of statistical methods, concepts, and other analytical tools utilized in human resource processes.
• Knowledge of interviewing and candidate evaluation processes.
• Experience with multiple HRIS and payroll software systems.
• Ability to deliver clear and effective presentations.
• Capable of analyzing a wide range of HR data and drawing conclusions from that data.
• Ability to interpret and apply state and federal statutes, along with applicable rules and regulations to moderately complex human resource issues and challenges.
• Provides appropriate recommendations for resolving simple to moderately complex employment and employee relations matters.
• Skilled in organizing, managing, and tracking multiple detailed tasks and assignments while adapting to frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in client relationship management tools, virtual meeting software, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Utilizes suitable interpersonal styles and communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
• Keeps all relevant parties informed about decisions, changes, and other pertinent information.
