This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Assisting a diverse array of projects for both private and government clients across the U.S. and internationally.

• Conducting human health risk assessments in line with regulatory guidelines and project-specific plans.

• Creating Risk Assessment Work Plans and contributing to Sampling and Analysis Plans/Quality Assurance Project Plans.

• Effectively coordinating with internal project teams, including delegating tasks to junior staff members.

• Producing technical deliverables, which include writing reports and performing/reviewing risk assessment calculations using R software.

• Keeping up-to-date with federal and state regulations and guidance documents related to risk assessments.

• Ensuring work quality, quantity, and efficiency meet or exceed company standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree coupled with four years of relevant experience or a demonstrated equivalence of experience and/or education.

• A valid Driver's license.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• The successful candidate must pass a background and motor vehicle records check.

• A Master’s degree in Environmental Science/Studies, Chemistry, Toxicology, Biology, Public Health, Environmental Health, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience with evaluating PFAS, PCBs, and lead is preferred.

• Background in performing human health risk assessments in an environmental consulting environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with environmental statistics, such as USEPA ProUCL, is preferred.

• Experience working on Department of Defense projects is preferred.

• Strong proficiency in using R software is preferred.

• Applied knowledge of USEPA Risk Assessment Guidance for Superfund (RAGS) is preferred.

• Experience in conducting vapor intrusion assessments is preferred.

• Exceptional technical writing and communication skills are preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is preferred.
