HSQE Manager – France, Belgium

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.

• Create and execute Health & Safety and Environmental Plans for various projects.

• Perform site inspections and audits, evaluate risks, and pinpoint potential hazards.

• Deliver training to employees regarding safety and environmental practices.

• Monitor project advancements and report on the status to management.

• Complete the site's risk assessment and ensure compliance with control measures.

• Execute action plans related to preventive and corrective measures at wind farms.

• Establish and coordinate emergency procedures.

• Offer guidance to colleagues and contractors as necessary.

• Develop local HSQE training plans.

• Manage, track, and analyze HSQE performance data.

• Respond to and investigate accidents and incidents.

• Assist in identifying hazards, assessing, and managing professional and environmental risks.

• Engage in designing initiatives to enhance environmental and safety awareness.

• Review and validate HSQE requirements in contracts.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in HSE management within the renewable energy sector, particularly in wind power projects.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing safety and environmental procedures.

• Familiarity with conducting site inspections and audits.

• Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 management systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Environmental Engineering.

• Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.

• Internal auditor certification for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, along with knowledge of ISO 9001.

• Proficient in English and French; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

• Valid driver's license.
