This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Formulating and implementing a compliance strategy that encompasses the Honeywell HSE Management System and regulatory standards across all Smart Energy Service projects.
• Fostering a strong emphasis on reducing injuries through cultural and behavioral initiatives.
• Collaborating with the leadership of Smart Energy Service to meet established goals and objectives.
• Capable of minimizing the risk profile of Smart Energy Service projects by identifying gaps through self-assessments, audits, gembas, and inspections by agencies or third parties.
• Proficient in utilizing Accelerator/Lean Practices and Principles to develop, implement, and continuously enhance HSE outcomes and improve efficiencies.
• Assisting Smart Energy Service projects with thorough reviews, visits, and inspections to promote ongoing improvement in HSE.
• Ensuring the consistent and effective auditing of regulatory requirements alongside Honeywell Level 1 & Level 2 Standards.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in health and safety, with increasing levels of responsibility.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Desired knowledge and experience in field service, with additional expertise in natural gas pipelines being a plus.
• Preferred comprehensive understanding of Honeywell’s policies, procedures, and processes.
• Experience in managing global aspects of HSE and Sustainability.
• Solid understanding of OSHA requirements.
• Capability to communicate effectively and influence decision-making across all organizational levels.
• Strong skills in collaboration, program management, and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently to meet organizational objectives.
• Mature judgment and decision-making skills with both strategic and tactical HSE experience.
