This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Engage in the design, development, configuration, testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenance of technical solutions that support Human Resources business applications.

• Assist with enterprise-wide Workday implementations and integrations with both vendor and company-specific applications.

• Maintain and support Workday integrations, reporting, security, and associated technical components.

• Create and sustain Workday integrations utilizing EIB, Workday Web Services, Cloud Connect, and Workday Studio.

• Develop technical solutions in alignment with business and functional requirements.

• Aid in Workday Security configuration and uphold technical documentation.

• Prepare for and execute migrations and deployments across Workday Sandbox, Preview, and Production environments.

• Generate and maintain Workday reports using the Workday Reporting Platform, Calculated Fields, and Workday Report Designer.

• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.

• Schedule and oversee integrations and reports, configuring notifications for failures and operational events.

• Investigate integration failures, performance issues, and data inconsistencies.

• Analyze, prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges.

• Take part in root-cause analysis to help prevent recurring production issues.

• Collaborate with HRIS functional teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.

• Engage in technical design discussions, peer reviews, testing, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, troubleshooting documentation, and Knowledge Base/FAQ repositories.

• Keep up-to-date with Workday releases and new Workday development technologies.

• Continuously enhance technical skills within the Workday ecosystem.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Human Resources Information Systems, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and relevant professional experience.

• 2–4 years of HRIS or Workday technical experience.

• Practical experience in supporting or developing Workday integrations, reporting, or associated technical solutions.

• Proficiency in Workday integration technologies such as EIB, Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, Web Services, and APIs.

• Experience with Workday Reporting and Calculated Fields.

• Familiarity with XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and related integration technologies.

• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle, source control, deployment processes, and change management practices.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Workday certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience with Workday Extend is advantageous but not essential.
