This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Act as the main HR liaison for all business operations in Canada, delivering comprehensive support in talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and everyday HR services.
• Ensure that HR practices are consistent with Canadian employment laws, providing support to employees and leaders in Sales, Service, and corporate functions.
• Manage the complete recruitment cycle for all Canadian positions, encompassing sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection processes.
• Create innovative and effective recruitment strategies tailored to the Canadian talent landscape.
• Supervise onboarding and orientation procedures to guarantee a smooth experience for new employees.
• Serve as the primary resource for employee relations issues within Canadian teams.
• Collaborate with managers to evaluate team dynamics, foresee potential challenges, and implement proactive measures.
• Offer guidance on conflict resolution, performance management, and the interpretation of policies.
• Foster strong, collaborative relationships with employees and leaders at every level.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of Canadian employment law, provincial regulations, and HR best practices.
• Interpret and manage HR policies, employee handbooks, and benefits programs within the Canadian framework.
• Ensure HR processes comply with federal and provincial legislation, including relevant Québec regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• HR certification (e.g., CHRP, CPHR, SHRM‑CP) is a plus and may be accepted in place of degree requirements.
• At least 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally supporting field‑based or distributed teams.
• Proven expertise in Canadian employment law and employee relations.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English (both written and spoken).
• Strong familiarity with SAP; experience with SuccessFactors is an advantage.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and compassionately.
• Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, remote environment while supporting multiple stakeholders across Canada.
• Assist managers and employees in understanding their responsibilities during leave periods, ensuring compliance and effective communication.
• Keep precise documentation and ensure timely responses to all employee inquiries.
