This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead global HR projects of medium to large scale; define project scope, plan, and oversee all delivery phases including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Create and sustain project plans, timelines, and reporting; proactively manage project scope and changes.
• Serve as Test Lead for larger projects; create a detailed test plan outlining the approach, and ensure that test cases are developed, uploaded, and monitored throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Establish governance and communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed about status, risks, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify resources, address issues, and facilitate decision-making.
• Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring successful project outcomes.
• Supervise all project activities, including analysis, development, testing, training, and deployment.
• Track implementation progress, drive issue resolution, and continually optimize delivery plans.
• Act as Test Lead, setting up test strategies, plans, and schedules throughout all phases.
• Manage the testing approach, ensuring complete traceability to requirements and effective resolution of defects.
• Ensure the quality of test cases, data preparation, execution, and defect management.
• Lead the planning and execution of deployment, ensuring readiness for production.
• Oversee post-implementation activities such as lessons learned and user adoption.
• Contribute to the enhancement of PMO methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of experience in project/program management and testing.
• Strong expertise in project planning, execution, and test management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools; experience with qTest and/or Jira is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and drive outcomes.
• PMP certification and Workday experience are preferred.
