HR Payroll Specialist, German Payroll Experience Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Execute pre-payroll tasks in compliance with German labor laws

• Partner with HR and finance departments to collect payroll inputs and address any discrepancies

• Prepare and maintain payroll documentation for both internal and external auditing purposes

• Oversee exception processing, which includes handling special cases and one-time payments

• Project payroll expenses and create analytical reports for management evaluation

• Support mid-year and year-end processes by reconciling time management data and making necessary adjustments

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely submission of essential information

• Generate regular payroll reports and dashboards for stakeholders

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, or a related discipline

• Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher

• Familiarity with German payroll systems

• Strong knowledge of relevant German labor regulations

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities

• Proficient in spreadsheet applications

• Capability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple deadlines

• Ability to build relationships and work with stakeholders at various levels

• Strong emphasis on accuracy and continuous process improvement
