This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee operational supervision, development, support, and guidance for the Managed Payroll Team.
• Consistently facilitate clear and effective communication with both employees and clients.
• Design and conduct proactive training sessions for employees based on client requirements and opportunities.
• Drive collaboration both internally and externally to ensure client success.
• Manage all aspects of the internal recruiting and onboarding processes for new hires within the Managed Payroll Team.
• Assist team members in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to Managed Payroll services and support.
• Collaborate with the HR Operations Manager and/or Director of Managed HR Services to address service enhancements, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
• Take ownership of complex escalations, create action plans, and provide appropriate support to both team members and clients.
• Perform recurring supervisory responsibilities, including but not limited to employee performance management, time and attendance tracking, payroll management and approval, as well as internal onboarding and offboarding.
• Identify and implement process enhancements, including the development of additional payroll support services.
• Build and sustain employee-client portfolios that align with organizational objectives and workload standards.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across a multi-client portfolio while complying with internal service level agreements (SLAs) and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain robust internal controls and keep documentation audit-ready at all times.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, teamwork, and ongoing improvement within the Managed Payroll organization.
• A Bachelor’s degree and/or at least three (3) years of experience in human resources is preferred.
• A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a dynamic environment is preferred.
• At least two (2) years of relevant experience in Human Capital Management (HCM) is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of HR and payroll best practices.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate various HR systems and platforms, including payroll, benefits, applicant tracking systems, and HRIS.
• Competent in organizing, managing, and tracking multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work setting.
• Capable of delivering clear and effective presentations.
