This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the planning and execution of HR projects, which include annual cycles and system-related tasks, by managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and ensuring cross-functional alignment among HR teams and systems.
• Administer the Workday enhancement process by coordinating sprint planning and backlog management, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to establish priorities, requirements, scope, and delivery timelines.
• Work closely with HRIS to facilitate system-related initiatives, which involve gathering and validating requirements, coordinating testing activities, and documenting both current and future state business processes and workflows using Visio.
• Assess, prioritize, and assist in resolving HR Operations and Workday-related requests through Fresh service, ensuring alignment with operational priorities, system impacts, and business needs.
• Lead the documentation of current and future states for essential HR business processes using Visio.
• Drive change management initiatives, including stakeholder communications, training, and readiness activities.
• Identify and spearhead opportunities to enhance HR processes, operational workflows, and Workday utilization, supporting the implementation of these changes across HR Operations and Workday.
• Create and present reporting, dashboards, and operational insights through Smartsheet and related tools to provide stakeholders and leadership teams with visibility into project progress, risks, outcomes, and key operational metrics.
• Provide Workday operations support, including EIB data loads, and assist with internal and external audit requests (system walkthroughs, providing evidence, and supporting Kainos).
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in supporting HR operations, HR systems, or delivery-focused program or project work within an HR setting.
• Practical experience in supporting Workday or similar HR platforms.
• A solid understanding of how HR functional areas and systems intersect (e.g., Compensation, Payroll, Talent, Compliance, HRIS).
• Proven experience in project management and change management within an HR context.
• Comfort in interacting with and supporting senior stakeholders, including preparing materials and communicating updates effectively.
• Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• A keen interest in HR systems, process improvement, and operational design.
• Proficiency in Office 365 and substantial functional experience in Workday.
