This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.
• Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, encompassing onboarding, offboarding, and adjustments to employment status.
• Create employment-related documentation such as contracts, amendments, employment verification letters, and other HR documents.
• Assist in the administration and maintenance of the HRIS.
• Ensure compliance during the onboarding process and facilitate annual mandatory training.
• Aid in maintaining HR documentation and operational workflows.
• Collaborate with the Lead HRBP to implement People priorities and strategic initiatives.
• Develop training materials, playbooks, and supplementary documentation.
• Identify areas for process enhancement through AI and automation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for standard HR inquiries.
• Support managers with everyday People processes and employee questions.
• Refer complex employee relations matters to the HR team.
• Generate reports for engagement and pulse surveys.
• Assist in manager communications and action planning.
• Help with employee communications and program implementations.
• Organize employee engagement activities, recognition events, and social gatherings.
• Provide administrative assistance for People programs as required.
• Enhance the employee experience through improved processes, communication, and program execution.
• Familiarity with USA employment law; global HR experience is highly advantageous.
• Act with urgency, follow through consistently, and take complete ownership of results.
• Comfortable with data, enjoy exploring AI applications, and seek to streamline processes.
• Possess a proactive attitude and readiness to engage in hands-on tasks.
• Exceptional communication abilities, including effective listening, writing, and presentation skills.
• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and the capability to juggle multiple priorities.
• A collaborative mindset with a dedication to fostering an outstanding employee experience.
• Proven ability to work effectively across diverse global time zones while ensuring operational consistency.
• Experience in start-ups or fast-paced work environments.
• Experience with Canadian payroll is a plus.
