This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Collaborate with the NAM HR team to conduct a comprehensive review of all Canadian HR policies, aiming to standardize them while ensuring compliance and clarity for employees.
β’ Provide policy change suggestions to key stakeholders, supported by clear rationale, risk assessments, and implementation strategies.
β’ Establish an annual policy review cycle to maintain all documentation up-to-date and aligned with global standards.
β’ Work alongside legal to evaluate all Canadian employment templates for alignment with current practices, update templates as necessary, and communicate changes to key stakeholders.
β’ Incorporate employment templates into the annual review process to ensure they remain current.
β’ Evaluate existing HR processes to identify opportunities for eliminating manual tasks, reducing duplication, and enhancing the employee experience.
β’ Design and implement scalable, automated solutions in collaboration with the NAM HR team.
β’ Own and oversee HR knowledge articles on the company intranet.
β’ Lead all necessary internal and external audits, RFP responses, and reporting obligations.
β’ Coordinate the development and implementation of nationwide shared services across all HR Centers of Excellence.
β’ At least 5+ years of progressively responsible human resources operations experience, preferably within a global matrixed organization.
β’ Strong understanding of Canadian employment legislation and a dedication to remaining updated as it evolves.
β’ Proven experience in designing and implementing HR policies, programs, and processes from inception to completion.
β’ Strong change management and communication skills, with the ability to guide others through transitions.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail, especially when reviewing and drafting documents sensitive to legislation.
β’ Capability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and see projects through to completion without close supervision.
β’ Strategic mindset, with the ability to evaluate how policy changes affect systems, teams, and workflows.
β’ Proficiency in utilizing data and information to make informed recommendations and resolve issues while adhering to standard practices, policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable laws.
β’ Familiarity with HRIS platforms and a genuine enthusiasm for HR technology and process automation.
