πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee and manage the Human Resource Analyst, Representative, and the Human Resources function.

β€’ Acquire an in-depth understanding of the business, including its departments, roles, structure, and processes.

β€’ Evaluate the need for HR services and formulate strategies to address those requirements.

β€’ Organize management training sessions on interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety, and sexual harassment.

β€’ Tackle all employee relations issues and other urgent matters to mitigate risk.

β€’ Foster positive relations and communication among team members by advising them and proactively facilitating conflict resolution.

β€’ Suggest enhancements to the Association's policies, procedures, and practices concerning personnel issues.

β€’ Stay informed about industry trends and employment legislation.

β€’ Guarantee compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to all personnel matters.

β€’ Relay updates on the Association's personnel policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.

β€’ Consult with legal counsel as needed regarding personnel issues.

β€’ Advise on, assess, and engage in talent evaluation, learning, and staff development for the Association.

β€’ Create and maintain a human resource information system tailored to the Association's requirements.

β€’ Enforce Safety policies and programs as mandated by business and federal and state regulations.

β€’ Undertake additional responsibilities or special projects as assigned.

β€’ Ensure that all human resource practices, employee relations matters, and personnel actions align with applicable California labor and employment laws, regulations, and agency requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required.

β€’ PHR or a comparable Human Resources certification is preferred.

β€’ 7-10+ years of progressively responsible experience in human resources.

β€’ 5+ years of experience in addressing employee relations matters.

β€’ In-depth knowledge of California employment laws and regulations.

β€’ Must be a current resident of California and maintain residency throughout employment.

β€’ Candidates located in the Los Angeles metropolitan area are highly preferred.

β€’ Thorough knowledge of Human Resource principles, techniques, and procedures, along with strategies to assess and resolve human resource challenges.

β€’ Extensive understanding of HR/personnel practices and principles is essential, including relevant labor, pay, benefits, and health and safety laws and California regulations.
