This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Manage and provide support for daily HR operations, which include onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations across various states.
• Maintain, revise, and implement company HR policies and procedures.
• Act as a reliable resource for managers and employees concerning HR policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
• Address employee relations issues, encompassing investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning, organizational requirements, and employee engagement strategies.
• Assist with audits, documentation, and reporting related to HR compliance.
• Aid in benefits administration, management of leaves of absence, and coordination of workers’ compensation.
• Work with legal counsel or external partners on compliance or employment-related issues.
• Facilitate HR initiatives tailored to field-based, project-based, and technical teams within the data center and telecommunications sectors.
• Oversee and accurately process multi-state payroll for both hourly and salaried staff.
• Ensure payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations.
• Coordinate payroll data inputs, which include timekeeping, new hires, terminations, pay adjustments, bonuses, and deductions.
• Reconcile payroll reports, address any discrepancies, and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and external payroll providers as necessary.
• Support payroll audits, tax submissions, garnishments, and year-end reporting (W-2s, etc.).
• Maintain payroll records with utmost confidentiality and precision.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist with responsibilities in payroll processing.
• Demonstrated experience supporting employees across multiple states.
• Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and payroll regulations.
• Bilingual proficiency is required (English/Spanish).
• Experience in data center, telecommunications, construction, or similar technical sectors.
• Ability to work remotely while providing support to a geographically diverse workforce.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
• Must reside in Texas.
