This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ We are looking for skilled HR Business Partner contractors to assist with several restructuring initiatives both in the UK and internationally.
β’ These roles are hands-on and require extensive expertise in organizational change, necessitating the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
β’ You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, delivering expert HR guidance and comprehensive support throughout the entire restructuring processβfrom planning and consultation to implementation and closure.
β’ Assist leaders in organizational design and ensure compliance with established principles, such as spans and layers.
β’ Deliver employee impact assessments.
β’ Create consultation materials utilizing a range of centrally developed resources.
β’ Collaborate with HR Country Heads globally to facilitate local execution.
β’ Provide training to leaders on consultation processes as well as assessment and selection (A&S).
β’ Support the initiation of both collective and individual consultation, ensuring compliance in various markets in collaboration with local HR.
β’ Manage HR Q&A and counterproposals during the consultation period.
β’ Facilitate the assessment and selection process, leveraging a Power App to enhance this process.
β’ Oversee the conclusion of consultation.
β’ Handle appeals.
β’ Ensure timely issuance of necessary notifications and update the HRIS accordingly.
β’ Lead collective consultation processes in accordance with UK employment law and, where relevant, local legal requirements in other regions.
β’ Assist leaders in developing and fine-tuning their proposals in preparation for consultation.
β’ Supervise both collective and individual consultation processes to ensure a fair, consistent, and legally compliant approach.
β’ Manage TUPE obligations if they arise.
β’ Serve as the primary HR contact for senior stakeholders throughout change initiatives, providing practical, business-oriented guidance.
β’ Utilize centrally developed materials, templates, and guidance to ensure consistent and compliant execution of change activities, both in the UK and across global markets.
β’ Collaborate closely with legal counsel, employee relations specialists, and in-country HR teams as necessary.
β’ A proven history of managing complex restructuring and redundancy programs from start to finish, either in the UK or across multiple regions.
β’ In-depth knowledge of UK employment law, particularly regarding collective consultation, redundancy, and individual consultation obligations.
β’ Experience in training and coaching line managers through consultation and assessment & selection processes.
β’ Familiarity with HR systems, preferably Workday, and comfort using digital tools to facilitate process delivery.
β’ Experience functioning at an HRBP level, influencing stakeholders at the Director level and above.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently.
β’ Capacity to operate independently with minimal supervision while being embedded within a client team.
β’ All positions are remote; some may necessitate one day per week of on-site attendance in London.
