HR Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with employees and leaders to implement ongoing company-wide cyclical Talent initiatives, working alongside functional Talent leads.

• Develop and maintain Employee Policies and Global Employee Handbooks.

• Facilitate Learning & Development and Training programs.

• Conduct Annual Employee Engagement and eNPS Surveys.

• Oversee the Annual Compensation Reviews and Performance Management Cycle.

• Manage Talent and employee lifecycle processes for designated business units, including onboarding, offboarding, exit interviews, and promotions.

• Offer coaching and support to managers and leaders regarding employee relations and team and individual performance management.

• Comprehend business objectives and propose innovative approaches to enhance Talent initiatives in alignment with those goals.

• Proactively evaluate the development needs of teams and managers, make recommendations, and implement suitable solutions.

• Consult with leaders by building strategic relationships, leveraging strong business acumen and HR expertise to address various HR-related matters, including complex personnel issues.

• Engage regularly with leaders to facilitate the exchange of ideas and updates on Talent initiatives.

• Act as an advocate for employees to promote career fulfillment and progression.

• Serve as a cultural steward to foster a positive workplace morale.

• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.

• Collaborate with external Subject Matter Experts as necessary, such as external employment counsel.

• Perform additional related tasks as assigned by management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, with a focus on Human Resources Management; SHRM certification is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role is required.

• Background in a fast-paced growth and entrepreneurial environment.

• Demonstrated strong judgment and experience in assessing business-related risks.

• Proven experience in managing complex employee relations scenarios.

• Ability to interface effectively with all organizational levels.

• Previous experience in supporting the execution of organization-wide HR programs.

• Exceptional skills in teamwork, judgment, relationship building/trust, influence, written and verbal communication, business acumen, consulting, and conflict management.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative, and creativity in developing solutions.

• Capacity to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information.

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. employment law; global experience is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
