Housing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist individuals and families in finding, securing, and maintaining stable housing.

• Conduct housing assessments and intake interviews, either virtually or in person.

• Collaborate with landlords, property managers, and housing programs to secure housing opportunities.

• Maintain precise documentation and case notes through digital case management systems.

• Aid clients in comprehending rental agreements and tenant rights.

• Perform follow-ups to ensure ongoing housing stability.

• Work together with internal team members and external partners to deliver comprehensive support services.

• Attend occasional in-person meetings, property visits, or community events within the service area.

• Must live in the servicing county.

• A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required.

• Strong computer skills and comfort with using cloud-based platforms.

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.

• A passion for assisting others and enhancing community well-being.

• Preferred prior experience in social services, housing support, or case management.
