This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Assist members in finding suitable housing that aligns with program guidelines, their preferences, and availability.

• Educate landlords, property managers, and owners about the TCL and the TCL Voucher subsidy.

• Provide technical support to landlords concerning specific members.

• Collaborate with members and their guardians to evaluate members’ financial needs and aid them in creating a budget that facilitates independent living.

• Work directly with members, landlords, tenancy providers, internal TCL staff, Care Management, Finance staff, and other support systems to identify and resolve housing challenges and barriers, along with any other social determinants of health, to sustain permanent supportive housing, prevent formal evictions, and secure alternative housing through TCL when necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with individuals and housing systems that serve people with SMI/SPMI, including obtaining and maintaining Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH).

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Must live within Trillium’s catchment area, which includes the following counties: Bertie, Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Gates, Halifax, Hertford, Martin, Northampton, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Warren, Beaufort, Dare, Edgecombe, Greene, Hyde, Nash, Pamlico, Pitt, Tyrrell, Washington, Wilson, Carteret, Craven, Duplin, Jones, Lenoir, Onslow, Pender, Sampson, Wayne, Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Hoke, Lee, Moore, New Hanover, Robeson, Scotland, Anson, Guilford, Montgomery, Randolph, and Richmond.

• Must be willing to travel within the catchment area as needed.

• Candidates with experience working with the TCL population and who are certified peer specialists are encouraged to apply.
