This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
• Advocate for and advance Sedgwick’s mission, strategic vision, and value proposition to both adjusters and policyholders.
• Act as a primary contact for policyholders throughout their relocation process.
• Assess housing requirements, including lifestyle preferences, household composition, accessibility needs, pets, and desired amenities.
• Perform market research to identify comparable housing options of like-kind and quality.
• Collaborate with housing vendors, landlords, and leasing agents to secure short-term rental accommodations.
• Negotiate lease agreements, optimize policy benefits, and adhere to Additional Living Expense guidelines.
• Tailor housing solutions based on policy coverage, budget constraints, availability, quality, and expectations of the insured.
• Deliver exceptional service throughout the policyholder’s duration of stay.
• Address concerns and facilitate lease extensions, furniture modifications, and service requirements.
• Draft and review lease contracts and associated documents.
• Input and maintain precise data in housing databases, CRM systems, and internal platforms.
• Keep up-to-date with rental market trends, landlord regulations, and best practices in insurance housing.
• Manage multiple claims and assignments with professionalism and urgency.
• Serve as the main point of contact for VIP clients.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned and contribute to quality programs.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution is preferred.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or account management.
• Prior experience in insurance, temporary housing, corporate lodging, or real estate is strongly preferred.
• Proficient communication, research, negotiation, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong capacity for clear and conceptual thinking.
• Excellent judgment, troubleshooting, analytical, and discretion skills.
• Capability to manage work-related stress and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to meet deadlines effectively.
• Proficient in computer keyboarding.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Credit security clearance confirmed through a background credit check is mandatory.
