This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Identify, reach out to, and establish relationships with clients while nurturing existing connections in the Hospitality, Contract, and Commercial sectors.
• Determine key accounts to prioritize for in-depth development.
• Optimize sales across product categories (fabric, wallcovering, trim) within the geographic area for hospitality and commercial clientele.
• Conduct in-person presentations to clients to promote Schumacher Hospitality and showcase design and treatment capabilities to secure project leads and quotations.
• Regularly update and uphold Schumacher Hospitality's presence in client libraries, providing samples and resources upon request.
• Oversee the project pipeline and assess the territory to pinpoint growth opportunities within the account base.
• Represent the luxury brand by delivering exceptional customer service while advancing Schumacher's mission to provide the highest quality products and service standards in the luxury market.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and Hospitality Team to enhance sales across all product categories, aiming to meet individual and team sales objectives.
• Utilize Schumacher Hospitality's marketing, sales, and reporting tools to manage client order statuses and boost territory sales.
• Maintain a database with the most current client contact and project details.
• Continually seek to expand knowledge of interior design, current Schumacher and Hospitality collections, and deepen understanding of the luxury interior hospitality design sector.
• Serve as a Schumacher Hospitality ambassador, fostering growth in the Hospitality, Commercial, and Contract business.
• 2-8 years of experience in client-facing, outside sales roles.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently, visiting clients 60-80% of the time.
• Enthusiasm for managing multiple accounts and cultivating successful client relationships.
• A competitive spirit and entrepreneurial mindset aimed at expanding existing accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to set and meet sales targets through active collaboration and influence.
• Develop and execute account strategies in the Hospitality, Retail, Commercial, and Contract markets.
• Capable of transporting samples, boxes, books, and other sales and marketing materials to clients.
• Highly organized with excellent follow-through skills.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
• Background in interior design is advantageous, but not mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in MS Windows and Office suite.
