This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee project activities in support of the CMS Hospital Quality Reporting Program, which includes developing work plans, managing timelines, tracking progress, and following up on action items to ensure successful project delivery.
• Act as the main point of contact with the CMS quality reporting support contractor to align priorities, convey program requirements, oversee performance, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Assist in contractor oversight activities by monitoring deliverables, evaluating performance, identifying risks, escalating issues, and documenting decisions, action items, and solutions.
• Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate program implementation, provide technical assistance, conduct educational outreach, and resolve operational issues related to CMS quality reporting mandates.
• Create, review, and maintain project documentation, including reports, deliverables, meeting materials, status updates, process guidance, and other communications related to the program.
• Organize stakeholder, contractor, and team meetings by preparing agendas, documenting outcomes, tracking follow-up actions, and communicating project updates.
• Track project risks, dependencies, and schedule changes, proactively identifying potential impacts and escalating concerns to leadership to aid informed decision-making and issue resolution.
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance project management processes, reporting workflows, and operational efficiency, including the use of approved AI-enabled tools for drafting, summarization, data analysis, and project planning in line with established governance, privacy, and security standards.
• Evaluate educational needs of providers and stakeholders and coordinate the creation of training materials, guidance documents, and outreach strategies to enhance program understanding and compliance.
• Provide assistance for provider support functions, including addressing inquiries related to CMS quality reporting requirements through designated communication channels.
• Carry out additional project management, program coordination, and administrative support tasks as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, public health, information management, or a related field is preferred.
• Exceptional oral and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the capability to coordinate effectively across internal teams, external stakeholders, and contractor partners.
• At least three years of experience in project coordination, program support, healthcare quality reporting, or similar roles; experience in supporting CMS programs, federal contracts, or contractor oversight is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, track timelines, deliverables, risks, and follow-up items, and ensure timely completion of work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other project management and collaboration tools, with the capability to prepare clear documentation, reports, presentations, and meeting materials.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools to support drafting, research, summarization, and workflow efficiency in a responsible and compliant manner is preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting while maintaining attention to detail, responsiveness, and adaptability to changing priorities.
