Hospital Pharmacist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Execute remote order entry and evaluate and verify CPOE orders.

• Conduct consultations with physicians and nursing staff.

• Offer clinical medication dosing services.

• Review and monitor patient profiles and lab results to ensure therapeutic effectiveness.

• Facilitate access to medications in accordance with facility policies and comply with relevant state and federal regulations.

• Provide remote support to clients' patients, ensuring continuity of care.

• Accept typical evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts on a PRN/on-call basis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold an active pharmacy license in both the state of residence and the state of original licensure.

• Willingness to obtain all core licenses necessary for this position: CT, DE, MA, ME, NH, NY, OH, PA, RI, and VT within the first 12 months of employment.

• Preferred 2-4 years of clinical inpatient experience in a hospital setting.

• Ability to gain reciprocity for additional states required for practice.

• Proficient in using various pharmacy information systems and technology.

• Strong communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with other healthcare professionals.

• A minimum of 3 years of inpatient hospital experience is highly preferred.

• Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.

• Experience and capability to interpret and process both handwritten and CPOE orders.
