Hospital Pharmacist, 7on/7off Overnight

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Remote entry of orders and evaluation and verification of CPOE orders.

• Ensure the acquisition or renewal of all pharmacy staff licenses.

• Act as a staff pharmacist as necessary.

• Consultations with physicians and nursing staff.

• Provide clinical medication dosing services.

• Review and monitor patient profiles and lab values to achieve therapeutic outcomes.

• Coordinate access to medications in accordance with facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws and regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active pharmacy license(s) in both the state of residence and the state of original licensure; a valid CA license is mandatory.

• Willingness to obtain licenses in WA, OR, WY, and ID.

• Must be a resident of CA.

• Preferred 2-4 years of clinical hospital inpatient experience.

• Ability to establish reciprocity for additional states necessary for practice.

• Proficient in using multiple pharmacy information systems and adept at learning new technologies.

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with other healthcare professionals, ensuring the delivery of competent clinical care.
