Hospital Medicine – Virtual Care Swing Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual inpatient admission services across Atrium Health facilities.

• Handle an average of 7–8 admissions per shift.

• No procedures are necessary.

• No responsibilities in the ICU.

• Work in collaboration with a strong clinical support team that includes:

• 3 Day MDs plus 1 Day APP.

• 1 Swing MD and 1 Swing APP.

• 2 Nocturnists and 5 APPs providing cross-cover support.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

• Possession of a North Carolina medical license (or eligibility for one).

• Experience: 3–5 years in inpatient medicine required (new graduates are not eligible).

• Preferred: Previous experience in telemedicine.

• Licensure: An active NC medical license is required.

• New graduates will not be considered.
