Hospital Finance Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee financial evaluations of rural healthcare facilities

• Provide expert guidance on revenue cycles, financial reporting, budgeting, and reimbursement processes

• Create enhancement strategies and mentor hospital leadership teams

• Organize expert consultants and facilitate peer-learning workshops

• Monitor financial performance indicators of hospitals

• Contribute qualifications and narratives of past performance to WIL proposals upon approval

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in finance, operations, or technical support for rural or critical access hospitals

• Understanding of Medicare cost reporting and reimbursement methodologies

• Experience in revenue cycle management and financial performance enhancement

• Proven experience in training or advising healthcare leaders

• Ability to work as a project-based contract collaborator; remote work within the US

• Possession of CPA, FHFMA, or CHFP credentials

• Experience as a CFO or COO in a rural hospital setting

• Familiarity with hospitals located in the Appalachian region
