This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ The Hospital Customer Service Representative serves as the primary contact for patients reaching out through electronic channels, responsible for addressing inquiries, delivering information, and facilitating a seamless communication experience.
β’ Address patient inquiries submitted via the hospital's website.
β’ Ensure prompt and precise management of all electronic communications.
β’ Assist patients in addressing any issues or questions related to hospital services.
β’ Maintain a compassionate and professional attitude in all interactions with patients.
β’ Record all electronic interactions in the hospital's CRM system or appropriate databases.
β’ Uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
β’ High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is advantageous.
β’ Familiarity with EPIC or other Hospital Information Systems (HIM).
β’ Experience with EPIC My Chart is a plus.
β’ Demonstrated experience in hospital or physician customer service, ideally with 2 years of experience.
β’ Strong proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
β’ An empathetic and patient-centered approach.
β’ Capacity to multitask and manage time efficiently.
β’ Basic knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
β’ Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards.
