Hospital and Physician Services Specialist – Weekends

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary support for radiologists, serving as a functional intermediary between hospital personnel and medical staff.

• Assist the radiologists with daily functions, including order entry and addressing Clario-related issues.

• Prepare and organize patient files, which includes retrieving previous images, reports, and other essential documentation for review.

• Accurately input and update patient demographics, examination details, and radiology findings in the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

• Work closely with technologists, radiologists, and support staff to guarantee all necessary imaging studies are accessible for interpretation.

• Oversee and manage the daily flow of studies to ensure prompt assignment and delivery to radiologists for review.

• Confirm that all received imaging studies are appropriately ordered, linked, and documented for precise interpretation.

• Document and process all hospital and external imaging as instructed.

• Monitor RIS, Clario, and other hospital systems to detect issues or delays, particularly with STAT studies that need urgent interpretation.

⛳️ Requirements

• MINIMUM: High School Diploma or equivalent.

• At least one year of experience in a medical environment.

• Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in a Radiology practice.
