Hospice Triage RN, PT 3:30p-11p, Compact & CA License Needed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct telephone triage for hospice patients and their families.

• Evaluate patient conditions and identify appropriate subsequent actions.

• Work in conjunction with on-call teams to manage care and resources.

• Precisely document all communications and interventions.

• Maintain a composed and professional attitude while addressing urgent calls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is highly preferred.

• Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records (EMR) for call documentation.

• Capability to type notes and documentation in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to manage stress and multitask while handling calls (minimum of 5 calls per hour on weekdays, and up to 8 per hour on weekends).

• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities.

• Capacity to work independently in a remote setting.

• This remote role necessitates consistent attendance, proactive communication, and dependable internet access during all scheduled shifts to facilitate timely patient care coordination.
