Hospice Triage RN, Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Offer telephone triage services for hospice patients and their families.

• Evaluate patient conditions and decide on the appropriate next steps.

• Work in collaboration with on-call teams to coordinate care and resources.

• Ensure accurate documentation of all communications and interventions.

• Maintain a composed and professional attitude while managing urgent calls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is highly preferred.

• Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records (EMR) for call documentation.

• Capability and comfort with typing documentation and notes in a fast-paced setting.

• Ability to manage stress and multitask during call reception (minimum of 5 calls per hour on weekdays and up to 8 per hour on weekends).

• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities.

• Capacity to work independently in a remote setting.

• This position is remote and requires consistent attendance, effective communication, and reliable internet access during all scheduled shifts to ensure timely coordination of patient care.
