Home Health Fax Navigator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Promptly and accurately receive and process incoming faxes.

• Sort and distribute faxes to the relevant departments.

• Attach faxed documents to patient charts accordingly.

• Utilize coordination notes to notify the appropriate staff of new information.

• Process new referrals received via fax and export them to HCHB.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of faxed documents at all times.

• Communicate with clients and internal personnel to confirm the receipt of important documents.

• Assist with additional administrative tasks as required.

• Work in a clerical office environment using computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

• May need to travel by automobile and will be exposed to varying weather conditions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Proficient in medical terminology.

• Experienced in using fax systems effectively.

• Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capable of handling sensitive information with discretion.

• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and document management systems.

• Previous experience in an administrative or clerical position is preferred.

• Experience in a medical environment is favorable.

• Must have and maintain a professional license, certificate, or registration in good standing, as applicable.

• Successful completion of a drug screening prior to employment is required.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
