Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services such as bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.

• Assist with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities according to the care plan.

• Support patients during mealtime, including food preparation and feeding assistance as necessary.

• Measure and document vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as instructed.

• Aid patients in self-administering their medications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for patients.

• Monitor patients and report any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Record care provided in compliance with organizational standards.

• Carry out additional duties as required to support patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a California Certified Home Health Aide certificate.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

• Valid driver’s license along with an insured and dependable vehicle.

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and accurately document care provided.

• Comfortable working independently with limited supervision.

• Demonstrates genuine empathy and patience for patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Professional demeanor, tactful, and attentive to personal hygiene standards.

• Registration with the CA Home Care Aide Registry (Department of Social Services).
