Home Care Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Deliver home assistance services to aged care clients, which include general housekeeping tasks such as making beds, cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, as well as washing, folding, ironing laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.

• Offer personal care services, aiding clients in getting out of bed, showering, and dressing.

• Support clients in managing their medication schedules.

• Assist with mobility and facilitate therapy objectives.

• Provide specialized care for clients with significant care requirements, including those with dementia.

• Extend social and emotional support to clients.

• Transport clients to their lifestyle activities or appointments.

• Give family caregivers a chance to take a break or attend to other responsibilities.

• Work autonomously, develop solutions to daily challenges, and seek guidance from management when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 months of experience in a similar role.

• Familiarity with personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medication management.

• Possession of a valid Australian Driver's Licence.

• Ownership of an insured, roadworthy vehicle.

• Prior to starting, all selected candidates must complete a Statutory Declaration, a National Police check, a Working Rights check, and a pre-employment functional assessment.
