Hmong Document Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Play a pivotal role in facilitating various components of the company's litigation portfolio, including eDiscovery tasks, workflow management, and litigation support.

• Perform research and draft responses for diverse post-conviction motions.

• Conduct research and prepare memorandums addressing legal questions for direct appeals currently before the court, as well as pretrial motions for criminal cases in Federal Court.

• Examine, prepare, and process an extensive range of technical legal documents that are typically voluminous and intricate in format.

• Assist client attorneys in creating trial notebooks, assembling jury instructions, and compiling lists of witnesses and exhibits.

• Draft original correspondence that does not require legal interpretation, but necessitates a solid understanding of legal and administrative processes and terminology.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three to five years of progressively responsible experience in litigation support projects, demonstrating effective communication skills to engage successfully with clients and attorneys.

• A solid working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research methodologies, and legal research resources is essential.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, along with a comprehensive understanding of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw, are required.

• Must possess practical experience with various computer applications, including word processing, databases (like document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, and imaging software.

• The role also necessitates practical experience with ESI tools and an understanding of eDiscovery processes and resources.

• A Law Degree is required.
