Hmong Document Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• In the role of a CGS Hmong Chinese Document Reviewer, you will be instrumental in supporting various elements of the company's litigation portfolio, encompassing eDiscovery activities, workflow management, and litigation assistance.

• Perform research and draft responses for a range of post-conviction motions.

• Conduct research and create memorandums addressing legal questions for direct appeals currently before the court and pretrial motions for criminal cases ongoing at the Federal Court.

• Review, prepare, and process a diverse array of complex and voluminous technical legal documents.

• Assist client attorneys in the preparation of trial notebooks, compilation of jury instructions, and organization of witness and exhibit lists.

• Generate a variety of written documents and materials using a broad spectrum of office software applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three to five years of progressively responsible experience in litigation support projects, demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients and attorneys.

• A solid understanding of federal and state court systems, legal research methodologies, and legal research resources is required.

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills are necessary, along with comprehensive knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.

• Must possess practical experience with various computer applications, including word processing, databases (like document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, and imaging software.

• The role requires hands-on familiarity with ESI tools and an understanding of eDiscovery procedures and resources.

• A Law Degree is required.
