HIM Supervisor – Document Analysts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversees the daily operations within the designated area.

• Works in conjunction with the department leadership team to assess service requirements and volumes, adjusting staffing levels as necessary.

• Assigns daily work schedules to staff members.

• Serves as a resource for the daily operations and activities of the department.

• Executes procedures as needed.

• Develops, implements, and instructs on new and advancing technologies.

• Communicates policies and practices effectively to the team.

• Guides and coordinates the training of new employees.

• Aids the department leadership team in resolving issues related to patient safety, care, and service.

• Fosters positive working relationships and collaborates effectively within the department/unit team and across departments to enhance the organization's ability to achieve its goals and objectives.

• Assists with Human Resource management duties such as interviewing, selection, orientation, education/training, feedback, performance evaluations, and the development of policies and procedures.

• Aids in the updating and maintenance of personnel files.

• Maintains and oversees Kronos records for employees.

• Conducts and documents staff meetings as required.

• Collaborates with the department leadership team to pinpoint and promote quality and performance improvement initiatives.

• Ensures adherence to applicable regulatory guidelines and established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, internet, and email.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in the healthcare sector.

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.

• RHIT/RHIA or equivalent healthcare certification.

• Willingness to travel.
