This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Achieve or surpass revenue and subscription goals for the territory by enhancing the utilization of Pearson’s digital, print, and service offerings within assigned accounts.
• Establish, nurture, and progress a robust pipeline of competitive opportunities by leveraging market intelligence, customer insights, and disciplined sales practices.
• Foster the adoption of subscription-based and Inclusive Access solutions that enhance student affordability and access.
• Implement essential sales cycles, including back-to-school initiatives, to boost student engagement and expand market share.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with faculty, department heads, and institutional stakeholders by comprehending their instructional objectives and challenges.
• Connect with customers through virtual meetings, phone calls, and emails, employing consultative selling methods to identify needs and suggest customized solutions.
• Provide impactful presentations, product demonstrations, and technology training for students to facilitate successful adoption.
• Work collaboratively with campus bookstores and administrators to optimize sell-through and ensure successful implementation.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Customer Success teams, subject matter experts, and operations teams to support opportunities across programs and institutions.
• Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting within Salesforce (OneCRM).
• A Bachelor’s degree or a comparable mix of education and relevant professional experience.
• Over 3 years of successful sales experience, preferably in higher education or a related field.
• Demonstrated success in achieving results within a fast-paced, goal-driven sales environment.
• Strong skills in consultative selling, relationship development, and delivering presentations.
• Proven ability to recognize customer needs and align solutions that deliver value.
• High levels of curiosity, eagerness to learn, initiative, accountability, and follow-through.
• Strong analytical and technological skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, virtual presentation tools, and related business applications, including generative AI.
