This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Cultivate enduring relationships and establish partnerships with clients.
• Formulate and implement strategic plans aimed at enhancing the growth of Carrier building systems, solutions, and services within Government and Higher Education enterprise accounts.
• Spearhead collaboration across various Carrier business units to boost market penetration and increase share of wallet.
• Assemble and lead a cross-business unit team to carry out strategic growth initiatives.
• Function with a high level of ownership and accountability in achieving business plans and revenue growth targets.
• Access and influence senior decision-makers, including VP- and executive-level leaders in Facilities, Capital Planning, Operations, Sustainability, and Finance.
• Foster and enhance long-term relationships with Government agencies, public sector entities, universities, and higher education systems.
• Comprehend customer funding models, procurement processes, regulatory requirements, and long-term infrastructure priorities.
• Develop and execute enterprise account plans to broaden Carrier's presence and elevate customer value.
• Propel and support strategic marketing initiatives within the Government and Higher Education sectors.
• Evaluate market opportunities, assess customer needs, and analyze competitor offerings.
• Identify and position Carrier solutions that address energy efficiency, sustainability, resiliency, lifecycle cost reduction, and compliance requirements.
• Present compelling Carrier value propositions that resonate with public-sector and institutional priorities.
• Collaborate with Carrier engineering, services, and product management teams to design and deliver integrated building solutions.
• Aid in the development of solutions that tackle campus-wide systems, modernization of aging infrastructure, decarbonization, and long-term asset performance.
• Beyond HVAC and controls solution sales, expand territory and accounts through the rental of portable HVAC solutions.
• Bachelor's Degree
• 10+ Years of Sales and/or Business Development Experience in the HVAC or Building Systems Industry
• Willingness to Travel up to 40% Domestically
• 5 Years of Experience managing direct reports.
• Proven success in selling HVAC or building solutions within Government and/or Higher Education markets
• Established experience in developing and managing large, intricate public-sector or institutional enterprise accounts
• Capability to engage with senior executives and influence long-term, strategic purchasing decisions
• Strong consultative selling abilities with the aptitude to align technical solutions with customer outcomes
• Experience in leading cross-functional, multi-business-unit teams to address complex customer challenges
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong negotiation skills, including an understanding of contractual, regulatory, and legal requirements
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
