High School Mathematics Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer academic assistance to students through phone, email, live chat, text, office hours, and scheduled appointments.

• Develop and deliver engaging webinars.

• Provide detailed feedback on subjective examinations.

• Carry out administrative responsibilities as required, such as drafting letters, monitoring spreadsheets, and sharing documents with the team.

• Analyze program and course-level data to identify student needs and inform outreach strategies.

• Assess, review, and recommend alterations to lessons, courses, or programs to ensure adherence to established standards, guidelines, and practices.

• Execute additional tasks relevant to the functions and level of the role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics.

• State-issued teaching certification in high school Mathematics.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching and/or tutoring.

• Access to dependable high-speed internet.

• Proficient computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems.

• Exceptional time management abilities.

• Experience in online learning and instructional design.

• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of business education.

• Comprehensive understanding of how technology can enhance new instructional methods.

• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team of educators.

• Empathy for students learning remotely while juggling competing priorities.

• A strong desire to inspire students and colleagues to foster academic achievement.

• A solid work ethic.

• Experience working with at-risk students (preferred).

• Ability to think quickly and communicate effectively and efficiently (preferred).

• Enjoyment of teamwork (preferred).

• Previous experience in a fast-paced work environment or customer service (preferred).

• Prior experience in a private, for-profit high school and/or postsecondary education (preferred).

• Previous experience as an online instructor and/or in education services management (preferred).
