High School History Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Deliver specific course content in an online setting.

• Provide instruction, assistance, and guidance to students.

• Monitor student progress via Stride K12’s learning management system.

• Collaborate actively with students and parents/learning coaches.

• Occasionally travel throughout the year to various school events.

• Establish and sustain a positive rapport with families.

• Prepare students for high-stakes standardized assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Active state teaching license.

• Ability to pass a required background check.

• Experience working with the specified age group.

• Experience assisting adults and children in using technology.

• Experience teaching in an online (virtual) and/or traditional classroom environment.

• Familiarity with online learning platforms.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours and fluency in K12 systems, programs, and curriculum.
