HealthShare Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develop strategies and solutions aimed at automating operations and enhancing software delivery methodologies and technological processes.

• Oversee Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines while supporting backup, recovery, patching, and ADFS integrations.

• Handle certificate administration, including updates and renewals across both production and lower-level environments.

• Deliver Tier 3 support for HealthShare applications and associated technologies.

• Install, configure, and maintain InterSystems base software, kits, patches, and middleware applications.

• Assist with the configuration and implementation of OAuth and Single Sign-On (SSO) initiatives.

• Contribute to team goals and undertake additional responsibilities as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• At least 3–5 years of professional experience in Information Technology and/or within Federal Government contracting environments.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in coding, maintaining, or supporting production systems.

• Practical experience with InterSystems Cache, IRIS, or HealthShare technologies.

• Proven experience in automating infrastructure, testing, or deployments using tools like Jenkins and Ansible.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Expertise in developing and maintaining CI/CD processes to enhance software quality and expedite delivery.

• Strong background in Agile and/or SAFe methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Experience with Unix/Linux systems, Apache, Python scripting, and AWS CloudWatch.

• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
