This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Professionally and efficiently respond to incoming patient phone calls.

• Handle patient callbacks and ensure follow-up communications are managed.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative requests promptly.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and patient support through both phone and electronic communication.

• Approach patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments as necessary.

• Manage no-show appointments and the associated rescheduling efforts.

• Assist in patient check-in and check-out processes.

• Keep accurate scheduling records using NexTech EHR.

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits efficiently.

• Submit prior authorizations and follow up on their status.

• Coordinate with insurance companies regarding claims and authorizations.

• Support medical billing tasks and follow up on claims.

• Accurately post patient payments into the practice management system.

• Maintain organized records for billing and accounts.

• Ensure patient records are updated and accurate in NexTech EHR.

• Provide support for front desk and administrative operations as required.

• Assist with documentation and workflow management activities.

• Maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold patient confidentiality at all times.

• Utilize NexTech EHR as the primary system for tasks.

• Respond timely to incoming patient calls and manage them efficiently.

• Schedule appointments accurately and manage follow-up communications effectively.

• Handle callbacks and patient inquiries with efficiency.

• Verify insurance accurately and process prior authorizations correctly.

• Ensure proper posting of payments and provide billing support.

• Uphold consistent patient satisfaction and customer service standards.

• Demonstrate reliable attendance and responsiveness during work hours.


⛳️ Requirements

• Required experience in medical office, healthcare, nursing, or clinical settings.

• Preferred experience with patient scheduling and front desk operations.

• Preferred background in insurance verification, prior authorizations, or billing support.

• Strong preference for experience using NexTech EHR.

• Previous experience as a virtual assistant is advantageous.

• Required Skills:

• Exceptional phone etiquette and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong customer service and patient support skills are essential.

• Knowledge of insurance verification and patient eligibility processes required.

• Familiarity with medical billing and payment posting practices is beneficial.

• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is a must.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills required.

• Capability to work independently while adhering to established workflows.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills are necessary.

• Comfort in handling confidential patient information is essential.

• Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt as needed.
