This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Assist in managing front desk operations within a bustling medical practice.
• Emphasize patient interaction, telephone management, scheduling, and administrative support at the front desk.
• Professionally and efficiently handle incoming calls from patients.
• Promptly return any missed calls and voicemails.
• Organize and oversee the scheduling of patient appointments.
• Address patient inquiries via email and text message.
• Keep accurate and organized records of patient communications.
• Preferred previous experience in healthcare or medical office settings.
• Previous experience as a virtual assistant or in a front desk role is advantageous.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of Optima EMR is a bonus.
• Excellent and professional telephone communication skills.
• A friendly and patient-centered approach.
• Capability to efficiently manage a high volume of calls.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to scheduling protocols.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Proficient multitasking abilities.
• Understanding of healthcare workflows and patient communication practices.
• Comfortable with learning specific procedures related to the practice.
• Dependable and consistently available during scheduled work hours.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Must be able to communicate clearly in both spoken and written English.
• Relevant work experience is required.
• Must be able to provide an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check prior to onboarding (mandatory).
• Availability for video meetings with the camera on when necessary.
• A reliable laptop or desktop computer is required.
• High-speed internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps) is necessary.
• A noise-canceling headset is required.
• A webcam is necessary for virtual meetings.
• A quiet and professional workspace is essential.
