• Input patient data into Electronic Health Records (EHR) and practice management systems.
• Ensure patient records are accurate and complete, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Confirm patient identity and update current patient profiles as necessary.
• Validate insurance coverage and eligibility for services before appointments.
• Secure pre-authorizations and referrals as required by insurance policies.
• Clearly communicate patient financial responsibilities, including copays, deductibles, and coinsurance.
• Process insurance information and guarantee precise billing documentation.
• Schedule patient appointments considering provider availability and patient needs.
• Dispatch appointment reminders and confirmations via phone, email, or SMS.
• Reschedule and cancel appointments upon request while preserving optimal provider schedules.
• Efficiently manage appointment waitlists and fill cancellations.
• Experience in managing healthcare accounts.
