Healthcare Recruiter – Physician Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Execute autonomous recruiting strategies to attract, screen (interview), and assess healthcare professionals according to the specific requirements of clients.

• Tasked with building a network of potential healthcare professionals to fulfill company objectives.

• Promote job assignments to candidates by identifying unexpressed needs and employing a consultative sales technique.

• Choose candidates and present them to hiring managers based on their skill sets and the client's background knowledge.

• Negotiate compensation packages with candidates while maintaining acceptable profit margins.

• Ensure candidate documentation complies with both business and facility credentialing standards.

• Formulate strategies to explore new recruiting channels; leverage various tools (e.g., email campaigns, social media) to foster relationships and broaden the candidate pool.

• Transition candidates into employees by collaborating closely with internal onboarding teams.

• Assist in addressing candidate issues promptly.

• Maintain an accurate database (e.g., iCIMS) containing candidate contact details, qualifications, and key selling points; document all communications with candidates.

• Generate weekly recruitment reports and undertake special recruiting initiatives as necessary.

• Achieve weekly productivity metrics and goals.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four years of relevant additional experience in place of a degree.

• Experience in supporting recruitment for a large healthcare or hospital system.

• Proven track record in developing recruitment processes and strategies.

• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare recruiting.

• In-depth knowledge of recruiting and employment regulations, policies, and practices (e.g., compensation, interviewing, onboarding, etc.).

• Proficient in MS Office and comfortable with utilizing the company database.

• Strong understanding of recruitment sources such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and social media.
