📋 Description

• Senior Consultants assist our healthcare clients in transforming their strategies and business processes, enhancing efficiency and operations, increasing transparency, and managing performance while ensuring compliance with Federal laws and regulations.

• As a Senior Consultant, you will be a key member of a team responsible for client management, solution implementation, and achieving results.

• This role includes supporting daily operational meetings with clients and consulting leaders.

• Senior Consultants are expected to prepare and present well-organized, effective reports and presentations to both client and internal executives.

• You will mentor junior consultants to ensure the quality of deliverables.

• Proactively assist in the delivery and management of engagement activities led by Guidehouse Engagement Leadership.

• Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with others to build relationships across the engagement team.

• Lead one or more tasks/work streams within a client engagement, overseeing both individual contributions and the work of other engagement staff.

• Facilitate discussions with clients and internal subject matter experts to drive effective outcomes.

• Identify and mitigate project risks related to scope, schedule, and quality, effectively escalating issues to engagement leadership.

• Develop strategies to address complex clinical, technical, and operational challenges for our healthcare clients.

• Actively engage in business development activities to identify, research, and pursue opportunities for new or existing clients.

• Contribute to the development of the team’s industry knowledge and capabilities through collaboration with clients and internal initiatives.

• Conduct technical and process analyses; collect data; and create and manage spreadsheets.

• Provide detailed fact-finding, research, and analysis to identify and recommend enhancements for continuous improvement of client operations.

• Assess health industry trends to inform clients about leading practices and drive ongoing transformation efforts.

• Develop transformation strategies to guide clients’ long-range strategic planning efforts that promote integration, growth, and standardization.

• Communicate solutions and new strategies to clients through comprehensive reports and presentations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree.

• A minimum of three (3) years in the provider healthcare industry, preferably with experience in management consulting focused on healthcare planning for facilities or service lines based on market research.

• A comprehensive understanding of the provider industry, along with a passion for enhancing clinical operations, which fosters alignment and connection of services across a system.

• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and effectively prioritize resources and time.

• Experience in maintaining project timelines and contributing to project reporting.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities across all business levels, including experience in drafting reports and client/public-facing documents, as well as effectively conveying complex concepts through Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Proficiency in quantitative analysis using Microsoft Excel and the capability to interpret analysis findings.

• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and cultivate successful professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

• Skill in creating clear and impactful presentations for clients on complex topics.
