This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Engage in a dynamic and expanding industry, assisting families and professional referral sources with seniors who require urgent discharge into a suitable community or home care agency as they transition from a hospital or skilled nursing facility.
• Achieve your monthly target quota of families selecting a senior care option by generating daily qualified patient referrals from your assigned market plan accounts.
• Manage a portfolio of clients (social workers, case managers, and discharge planners) specifically within hospitals and skilled nursing centers in this open territory.
• Build, maintain, and expand your book of accounts to enhance referral volume in your area.
• Foster new relationships within each account through networking, cold calling, and service presentations, while following up with each referral source on discharge outcomes to reinforce the value provided by A Place for Mom.
• Educate families on available care options and how they will collaborate with you and a Healthcare Senior Living Advisor to identify the appropriate senior living solution upon discharge.
• Collaborate with your partner Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to meet your target quota of families moving into a community or utilizing in-home care.
• Utilize and analyze reports in our CRM and internal systems to develop and manage your pipeline effectively.
• Test new initiatives, procedures, and tools (e.g., account scoring, CRM enhancements) in your territory, providing feedback to refine the resources and support available to you.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in outside sales as an individual contributor with outstanding prospecting and lead generation skills.
• Familiarity with the Senior Living Industry.
• Experience in hospital or skilled nursing facility sales.
• Proven history of surpassing sales quotas and working collaboratively with other teams to achieve results.
• Must possess a relationship-driven approach with a strategic mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to present to target customers and effectively overcome objections.
• Flourishes in a fast-paced, change-oriented, independent environment, with a readiness to engage hands-on, test new processes, and complete tasks efficiently.
• Eager to learn and improve, displaying a strong competitive spirit.
• Expected to travel daily within your territory during the 5-day business week (locally).
• Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong time management capabilities.
• Technologically adept and proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and a CRM (Salesforce preferred).
