This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Engage in a dynamic, expanding industry aimed at assisting families and professional referral sources with seniors who require urgent discharge into a suitable community or home care agency as they transition from a hospital or skilled nursing facility.
• Achieve your monthly target quota of families choosing a senior care option by generating daily qualified patient referrals from your designated market plan accounts.
• Maintain a portfolio of clients, including social workers, case managers, and discharge planners, specifically within hospitals and skilled nursing centers across this open territory.
• Develop, manage, and expand your book of accounts to enhance referral volume in your area.
• Foster new relationships within each account through networking, cold calling, and service presentations, following up with each referral source on discharge outcomes to emphasize the value that A Place for Mom provides.
• Educate families about their care options and how they will collaborate with you and a Healthcare Senior Living Advisor to find the ideal senior living solution upon discharge.
• Collaborate with your partner Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to meet your target quota of families moving into a community or securing in-home care.
• Utilize and analyze reports within our CRM and internal systems to effectively manage and develop your pipeline.
• Test new initiatives, processes, and account scoring within your territory, providing feedback to enhance the tools and resources available to you.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of outside sales experience as an individual contributor with outstanding prospecting and lead generation skills.
• Familiarity with the Senior Living Industry.
• Experience in hospital/skilled nursing facility sales.
• A proven history of surpassing sales quotas and effectively collaborating with other teams to achieve goals.
• Must possess a relationship-driven approach with a strategic mindset.
• Demonstrated success in presenting to target customers and navigating objections.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing, independent environment with a readiness to implement new processes and complete tasks.
• Eager to learn and enhance skills with a strong competitive drive.
• Expected to travel locally into accounts within your territory during the 5-day business week.
• Exceptional communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong time management abilities.
• Technologically savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and a CRM (Salesforce is preferred).
